About the job
As an Assistant Community Manager, you will support the Community Manager with day-to-day financial and operational activities within a residential community. Responsibilities include processing rent, reconciling accounts, handling resident issues, and assisting with compliance requirements. The position also provides opportunities to act as a site supervisor and build professional skills in financial management and property operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage rent collection, bank deposits, and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial and monthly close-out reports
- Address resident concerns and ensure satisfaction
- Coordinate maintenance and vendor payments
- Enforce lease terms and support eviction processes as needed
- Assist with client/owner relations, tours, and performance updates
Qualifications
- Property management or bookkeeping experience is preferred
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends
