About the job

This supplemental audiology assistant position supports the newborn hearing screening program at a hospital. Responsibilities include screening babies' hearing, scheduling weekend shifts, and coordinating with families and hospital staff. Training is required and must be completed during the work week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct hearing screenings for newborns
• Schedule and work weekend shifts (every 4–5 weeks)
• Coordinate with families and staff in a hospital setting
• Complete required training program after hire

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred: experience in healthcare or customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills; BLS certification may be required after hire
