Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff.
- Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and repositioning.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Document provided care and observations according to policies.
- Offer emotional support and companionship.
- Follow established infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-specific).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented.
- CPR certification is a plus.
