About the job

Become a valued member of an impactful care team supporting patients' nutrition and well-being at Valley View Health and Rehabilitation. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support meal/snack preparation, service, and delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, tables, and floors.
  • Wash and store dishes, utensils, and soiled items properly.
  • Review meal trays for menu and diet accuracy.
  • Store raw and leftover food safely.
  • Follow sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures.
  • Work some weekends and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
  • Positive, respectful, and patient attitude, especially with older adults and individuals with disabilities.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
  • Minimum age 18.
  • Reliable and able to perform all essential functions.
