Contribute to a supportive and caring healthcare team focused on patient recovery and well-being. This role involves assisting with meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting dietary needs in a collaborative long-term care facility environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support meal and snack preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, tables, and floors.
- Wash and properly store dishes and utensils.
- Review meal trays for accuracy per menus and dietary orders.
- Store raw and leftover food safely.
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations.
Qualifications
- Positive, respectful attitude, especially with older adults and individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication and ability to follow instructions.
- At least 18 years old and reliable.
