Lead and develop environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs for a leading food production company with operations across North America.

Position Overview

Oversee company-wide EHS initiatives, ensuring compliance with US and Canadian regulations, enhancing safety, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and launch new EHS programs aligned with strategic goals
• Manage EHS software and data analytics for reporting trends and compliance
• Coordinate training calendars and behavior-based safety programs
• Oversee EHS auditing, inspections, and documentation
• Support regulatory compliance and represent EHS during audits and investigations
• Collaborate with site EHS managers and act as a liaison across locations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Safety, Environmental Science)
• 5-10 years' experience in EHS regulatory compliance, preferably in food industry
• Strong leadership and program development background
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft tools and EHS software
• Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills

Work Environment

• Full-time role based in Portsmouth, NH or potentially remote for candidates meeting requirements
• Involvement in audits and regulatory processes throughout North America
