About the job
Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services in a long-term care environment as a Pharmacist. Oversee safe and accurate medication dispensing, supervise pharmacy staff, and ensure regulatory compliance in coordination with the Director of Pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and dispense medication orders
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for quality service
- Provide clinical expertise and answer medication questions
- Participate in operational improvements and staff training
- Maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or PharmD from accredited School of Pharmacy
- Unrestricted state licensure
- Preferred: 1 year experience in long-term care and leadership
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Computer proficiency preferred
- Minimum age 21; English proficiency
