About the job
Deliver quality pharmaceutical services to long-term care residents as a Pharmacist, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely medication dispensing. Oversee pharmacy workflows, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and provide clinical expertise under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications in compliance with regulations and Senior Care Pharmacy policy
- Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness and potential interactions
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and assist with staff training
- Answer medication-related questions and provide clinical input
- Maintain patient and employee confidentiality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or PharmD from accredited School of Pharmacy
- Valid, unrestricted state pharmacist license
- At least one year of long-term care experience preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Computer skills preferred
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Minimum age 21; proficiency in English
