Physical Therapist Assistant

Support pediatric patients in a hospital setting by providing direct physical therapy interventions under the guidance of a licensed therapist. This contract position focuses on improving patients' mobility, functional independence, and goal attainment in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records and understand treatment plans
• Deliver interventions such as gait training and exercises
• Evaluate patient response and document progress
• Instruct patients and families on home care programs
• Coordinate communication and care tasks across teams

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Active Pennsylvania State PTA license
• CPR certification (within 90 days of hire)
• Pediatric and inpatient rehab experience required
