Work within skilled nursing and post-acute care facilities providing essential physician assistant services. This position offers the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and play a key role in patient care and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend rounds at designated skilled nursing facilities
- Assess patients, formulate care plans, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Order, review, and act on diagnostic tests
- Prescribe and adjust medications as needed
- Educate patients, families, and staff on care and expectations
- Ensure prompt and accurate EMR documentation
- Support discharge planning and maintain regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Arizona PA license
- Graduate of accredited U.S.-based PA program
- Proficient with EMR documentation
- 1-2 years’ post-acute care or SNF experience preferred (new graduates considered)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
