Experience a rewarding role as a Restorative Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a long-term care and rehabilitation facility focused on high-quality, resident-centered care in Huntsville, AL. This position is centered on promoting health and independence for elderly and disabled residents through team collaboration and restorative nursing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee restorative nursing care for assigned residents
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and therapy teams
- Participate in care planning and the MDS/RAI process for restorative services
- Initiate therapy and evaluation requests
- Serve as liaison between nursing and therapy departments
- Identify and communicate resident restorative care needs
- Implement and maintain restorative care policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Fulfillment of all federal and state regulatory requirements
- Effective nursing skills and clinical knowledge for elderly care
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Patient, enthusiastic, and positive attitude toward residents and families
