Lead clinical operations and staff development in a long-term care facility as a Unit Manager RN with Valley View Health and Rehabilitation. This position oversees the daily delivery of patient care, compliance, and quality standards for a dedicated nursing unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily patient care and supervise nurse staff.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in activities related to quality assurance, infection control, and utilization review.
- Communicate physicians’ care instructions and coordinate with other departments.
- Delegate nursing and therapeutic procedures.
- Make regular rounds to monitor resident conditions and care quality.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license (Alabama).
- At least two years of nursing experience and one year in supervision.
- Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
