This position involves planning and managing patient care in clinical settings, assisting with examinations, treatments, follow-up activities, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Medical Assistant works primarily with a Primary Care/OB Provider, performing various clinical and administrative tasks to support patient health and clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Rooming and interviewing patients
- Recording medical history and vitals
- Assisting with medical procedures and treatments
- Administering immunizations as per protocol
- Managing patient follow-up, scheduling, and documentation in EMR
- Maintaining inventory and ordering medical supplies
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program and current CMA/RMA credentials or LPN licensure (WI and MN)
- Current BLS certification
- Prior clinic experience preferred
- Strong time management and communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged sitting, standing, and some lifting (up to 50 pounds)
