Optalis Healthcare at Kent Crossing seeks a Registered Dietitian to enhance the nutritional health and quality of life for residents in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As part of an interdisciplinary team, the Dietitian develops personalized nutrition care plans and supports food service operations in a skilled nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and create individualized care plans.
• Monitor, document, and update residents’ nutritional status and progress.
• Educate and counsel residents, families, and staff on therapeutic diets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with medical and dietary teams for optimal resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
• Registered Dietitian credential; state licensure as required.
• Experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
