Key Responsibilities
- Code and abstract outpatient medical records following established standards.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10CM/PCS and CPT codes for diagnoses/procedures.
- Assist in coding, charging, and abstracting information for ER and infusion cases.
- Comply with confidentiality protocols and medical record guidelines.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent knowledge in a specialized field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Required certifications: CCS, CPC-H, CO, RHIT or RHIA.
