The Medical Assistant position is a full-time opportunity within a clinical setting in Dayton, Ohio. Responsibilities include supporting physicians with patient intake, treatment, and communications, ensuring clinic operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete electronic medical record (EMR) intake at the time of service
- Escort patients and assist in preparing them for examinations
- Provide medical support including casting, suture removal, and other procedures
- Maintain communication with physicians, staff, and patients
- Handle medical supply orders and compliance with safety regulations
- Facilitate scheduling and coordination of outpatient testing
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in exam rooms
- Perform general administrative and record-keeping duties
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Engage in frequent standing, walking, and patient assistance
