About the job
Be part of a patient-centered team at AMG Specialty Hospital–Albuquerque, supporting patients’ rehabilitation as an Occupational Therapist Assistant. You'll work closely with an Occupational Therapist to deliver and monitor personalized treatment plans in a high-staff-ratio, long-term acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and administering individual occupational therapy programs
- Provide therapy under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and as ordered by a physician
- Document progress and support clinical interventions for optimal patient outcomes
- Uphold AMG’s mission of returning patients to the highest possible level of well-being
- Promote teamwork and communicate clearly with patients and other staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy school
- Current New Mexico State License
- BLS certification
- Proficient English communication; additional languages helpful
- Basic computer and documentation skills
