Join a dedicated team committed to nurturing life and promoting independence as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. In this role, you'll help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals by working closely with registered therapists and supporting both patient care and department needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with patient transport, transfers, and positioning
- Support registered therapists with rehabilitation treatments
- Execute patient-related and non-patient care tasks
- Help patients use orthopedic/prosthetic devices and equipment
- Prepare for and assist in therapy sessions
- Maintain equipment and aid in department-specific duties
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant license
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
- Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in medical/recovery facilities
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and maturity
- Current BCLS certification (AHA)
