About the job
Be part of a progressive rehabilitation team supporting two Senior Living Communities in Swansboro and Newport, NC. The Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) role is structured to provide comprehensive orientation and ongoing support to ensure the success of each team member.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic interventions under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist with exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, and patient support
- Maintain and update patient documentation, reporting outcomes to supervising OT
- Educate and guide patients and families on home-based exercises and techniques
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary care team for holistic patient care
- Contribute insights to patient evaluations and progress assessments
Qualifications
- Current OTA licensure or certification
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- 0–1 years of relevant experience
