About the job
As a Hospitalist at Massena Hospital in New York, you will join a provider team delivering care in a community hospital with a full range of specialties. This is a full-time, permanent position, scheduled seven days on/seven days off, primarily on day shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Interview and examine patients; review and update medical histories
- Assess and document inpatient and departmental care
- Administer care in detox units; Suboxone training required
- Maintain ACLS certification and NY State medical license
- Collaborate with a cohesive, communicative healthcare team
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible for New York licensure
- Suboxone training and ACLS certification required
- Clinical experience in hospital, emergency, or urgent care preferred
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills
