About the job
This position provides direct clinical care and treatment in Family Medicine, collaborating closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff. The role is responsible for leveraging best practices and protocols to ensure high-quality care delivery, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education, often within a telehealth setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments of patients, utilizing telehealth platforms when needed
- Order or perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Diagnose and treat a range of health conditions
- Prescribe medications and therapies, including preventive care
- Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures
- Collaborate with clinic leadership and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough and compliant patient records
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution
- Unrestricted Texas medical license
- Board certification in Family Medicine (or on track within 2 years)
- DEA registration for prescriptions
- Current CPR certification
