Key Responsibilities
- Sign out and provide diagnostic interpretation of surgical pathology and cytology specimens

- Prepare comprehensive pathology reports
- Maintain compliance with departmental and regulatory metrics
- Participate in frozen section diagnostics and on-site assessments
- Oversee laboratory staff and ensure best specimen handling practices
- Maintain HIPAA and safety regulatory compliance
- Participate in ongoing professional development and departmental meetings
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Accredited residency training
- Board certification or eligibility in pathology
- Texas licensure (or eligibility)
- Proven communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation
