About the job
As a Non-Interventional Physiatrist, you will diagnose and treat a wide spectrum of conditions from stroke recovery to musculoskeletal disorders within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Your work environment supports evidence-based healthcare and non-operative treatments, aiming for the best functional outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage post-stroke, spinal care, brain injuries, amputations, and neuromuscular disorders
- Provide comprehensive care for movement disorders, peripheral neuropathies, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Collaborate with neurologists, surgeons, and other specialists
- Use evidence-based protocols to guide patient treatment
- Engage in electrodiagnostic medicine and spasticity management
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Accredited residency training
- Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Licensed (or eligible) in Texas
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish
