Practice Manager

About the job

This position oversees the day-to-day hospital operations in a veterinary setting, working closely with the medical team to ensure business success and high-quality care. The Practice Manager is responsible for people leadership, process improvement, and achieving business and client service goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage hospital staff, scheduling, and daily operations
• Handle hiring, onboarding, and development of hospital associates
• Oversee budgeting, planning, and implementation of business strategies
• Ensure client and patient satisfaction and high-quality service delivery
• Train associates on hospital guidelines, preventive care, and wellness plans
• Maintain compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
• Promote a collaborative and positive work environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• At least three years of supervisory experience in healthcare, veterinary, or service industry
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage conflict and drive team engagement
