About the job
Join an established healthcare team as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) on a variable shift in Pocatello, Idaho. You will contribute to patient care in a nationally recognized trauma and tertiary care center.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and provide respiratory care for cardiopulmonary patients
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and oversee medication administration
- Maintain documentation in line with departmental policies
- Mentor and precept new staff and students
- Ensure safe and effective care environments
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved respiratory care program
- Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials
- Idaho state respiratory therapy license
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Obtain ACLS and NRP within six months of hire
Preferred:
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
