Respiratory Therapist

This role provides respiratory therapy to critically ill patients recovering from ICU stays at a specialty hospital in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. The position involves comprehensive patient evaluations, delivering respiratory care, and participating in a collaborative medical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and recommend respiratory treatment plans
• Provide therapy for complex medical and surgical conditions
• Manage airway devices and recommend ventilatory support
• Educate and counsel patients and families
• Promote quality improvement within the unit
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential required
• Graduation from an accredited program or equivalent experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Current Pennsylvania state licensure required
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• Experience preferred but not required
