About the job
Joining The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh as a Speech Language Pathologist means supporting children from infancy to young adulthood in achieving their fullest communicative potential. You'll deliver assessments and intervention services in both outpatient and early intervention settings in Allegheny County.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapy and monitor progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Prepare documentation and facilitate care transitions
- Recommend and support the use of assistive technology
Qualifications
- MS or MA in Speech/Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence and Pennsylvania licensure
- Pediatric experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Relevant clearances (Act 33/34, FBI)
