About the job
Evaluate and treat residents experiencing speech, hearing, swallowing, or cognitive challenges in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. Work within state and federal guidelines, providing quality care in an interdisciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed speech therapy treatments to patients
- Perform patient evaluations and OASIS assessments as appropriate
- Develop and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with patients, caregivers, and physicians
- Deliver rehabilitative interventions to improve communicative efficiency
- Document cases thoroughly and participate in other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited speech pathology program
- Licensed as a speech-language pathologist in Washington State
