This role focuses on managing and providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services in a skilled nursing facility. The candidate will be responsible for individualized assessments and implementing tailored treatment plans to enhance residents' speech, language, and swallowing functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of residents’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide education to residents and families on communication strategies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
• Maintain documentation and compliance with regulations
• Foster a respectful and compassionate environment for all residents

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or certification as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience in skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
