This ultrasound technician position supports high-quality healthcare service delivery in a hospital setting, operating medical imaging equipment, assisting with diagnostic procedures, and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to obtain accurate ultrasound images
• Screen patients for implants and ensure safety in the imaging environment
• Participate in ongoing education and competency training
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the medical team
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Assist in specialized procedures as directed by the radiologist

Qualifications

• Associate degree required
• Registered ultrasonographer or eligible for registry
• ARDMS preferred; 6-12 months relevant experience
• BLS certification required

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to lift over 50 lbs
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
• Full-time schedule with weekend and on-call rotation
