About the job
Ultrasound Technologists provide diagnostic imaging services, working on a part-time basis and collaborating with a growing imaging team. The role includes performing a variety of sonographic studies, overseeing quality standards, and contributing to daily department operations with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and general ultrasound studies
- Interpret physician instructions and modify imaging parameters
- Assist with biopsies, paracentesis, and clip placement procedures
- Maintain patient safety and ensure excellent care
- Support departmental organization and cleanliness
Requirements
- Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registry eligible
- Registry in vascular ultrasound within 9 months
- CPR certification (can be completed internally)
- Two years’ sonography experience preferred
