Ultrasound Technologist

Ultrasound Technologists provide diagnostic imaging services, working on a part-time basis and collaborating with a growing imaging team. The role includes performing a variety of sonographic studies, overseeing quality standards, and contributing to daily department operations with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and general ultrasound studies
• Interpret physician instructions and modify imaging parameters
• Assist with biopsies, paracentesis, and clip placement procedures
• Maintain patient safety and ensure excellent care
• Support departmental organization and cleanliness

Requirements

• Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registry eligible
• Registry in vascular ultrasound within 9 months
• CPR certification (can be completed internally)
• Two years’ sonography experience preferred
