Community Manager

As a Community Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a stabilized residential property in Los Angeles, California. You will manage a team, coordinate resources, and ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financials: review budgets, analyze financial statements, set rent rates, and ensure timely collection of rent and fees.
• Oversee property operations: approve invoices, control expenditures, and manage petty cash.
• Ensure legal compliance: uphold Fair Housing, ADA, and other housing laws.
• Lead resident relations: respond to resident complaints, promote satisfaction, and supervise onsite staff.
• Conduct regular property inspections for safety and appearance.
• Handle leasing: process applications, oversee renewals, conduct inspections, and manage the eviction process.
• Support owner relations: provide updates, conduct property tours, and respond to requests.

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; bend, stoop, climb ladders, and carry objects up to 25 pounds (or 50 pounds with assistance).
• Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• May require travel to other properties and flexibility in scheduling (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
