The Spiritual Counselor works as an essential member of the care team to ensure spiritual needs are met in accordance with patient and family beliefs in the Tomball, Texas area. The position is integrated into the interdisciplinary team and offers structured support for both patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver spiritual counseling to hospice and home health patients.
• Provide support tailored to individual belief systems.
• Engage with community clergy and support organizations.
• Participate in discharge planning and in-service educational programs.

Qualifications

• Ordination or licensure by recognized religious body.
• At least 1 year of experience as a spiritual counselor or similar.
• Prior experience in hospice or home health preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Satisfactory background and driving record.
