About the job
As the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, you will lead the company's EHS programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and promoting a culture of safety. Your responsibilities include managing environmental permits, providing safety training, conducting hazard assessments, and leading incident investigations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with environmental permits and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee stormwater program and conduct regular facility inspections.
- Lead safety policy implementation and conduct trainings (e.g. LOTO, PIT, confined space).
- Investigate incidents and facilitate corrective actions.
- Hold regular safety meetings and briefings with staff.
- Engage with regulatory agencies and assist with environmental reporting.
- Support employee onboarding with EHS orientation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Health & Safety, or a related field preferred.
- At least 3 years’ experience in an EHS leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
