EHS Manager

About the job

This role focuses on planning, directing, and implementing safety programs to maintain a safe and accident-free environment, mainly within facility services and similar industries. The manager leads safety policy development, conducts training, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations, primarily OSHA. Work involves collaboration with employees and management to reduce incidents and promote workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct training for managers and staff on safety practices
• Lead site inspections, hazard audits, and follow-up actions
• Investigate accidents and develop injury reduction measures
• Represent the company in customer meetings regarding safety
• Maintain compliance records and documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of safety experience with OSHA focus
• Behavioral-based safety experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred
• Experience in facility services, warehousing, or manufacturing
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $115,000 - $125,000 per year
