Become an EHS Specialist supporting multiple manufacturing facilities in the Southern US, ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality standards. Work with leading industrial wood product operations and gain exposure to compliance management, team supervision, and strategic health & safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct facility inspections and audits for health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and training
- Manage environmental permit applications and maintain records
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare timely health and safety reports
- Travel between multiple sites (SC, GA, AL) as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma required, Bachelor’s in Environmental or Safety Science preferred
- Minimum 5 years EHS experience, ideally in manufacturing
- Strong computer and problem-solving skills
- Valid US driver's license
