About the job

Work as an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist in the mining industry, focusing on the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of ISO14001:2015 environmental management systems. Oversee sustainability programs, participate in audits, deliver training, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve environmental management systems and ensure compliance
• Organize and lead audits, risk management, and corrective action planning
• Develop and deliver environmental training for workforce
• Collect and report sustainability data, and support field activities such as inspections and sampling
• Provide after-hours response as needed and manage contractors as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience with compliance systems, ISO 14001, and environmental programs in mining
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
