This laboratory technician role supports a cardiac catheterization lab, handling patient prep, monitoring, and assisting with various interventional procedures. The contract position operates within a set weekday schedule, ensuring excellent patient care and compliance with protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist during cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data
• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural support to patients and physicians
• Maintain compliance with on-call protocols and safety standards

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist
• Preferred: RCIS certification
• Required: BLS, ACLS, and IABP experience
• Previous cardiac cath lab experience
• High school diploma or GED required

Shift & Compensation

• Contract position, Monday – Friday, 7am – 5pm
• 13-week contract with possible extension
• Hourly pay provided

Work Environment

• On-site role at a healthcare facility in Newton, NJ
• Collaborative and specialized team setting
