Join a dedicated OB/GYN team providing high-quality healthcare in the East Valley Phoenix area. This full-time Medical Assistant role involves coordinating patient activities and supporting physicians and nurse practitioners in a busy women's care practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and document all aspects of patient care
- Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain vitals, and assist with exams
- Ensure lab results, X-ray, and external reports are ready for physician review
- Handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion
- Administer injections, collect specimens, and complete medical documentation
- Schedule appointments, manage EMR, and maintain supplies
- Uphold OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- 2 years of OB/Gyn medical assistant experience preferred
- Knowledge of managed care and CPT coding desirable
- Effective communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills
