About the job

This role involves performing a broad range of clinical and administrative tasks to support patient care delivery in a busy health center. Medical Assistants support providers in performing exams, administering medications, managing documentation, and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and health screenings
  • Administer medications and prepare patients for provider exams
  • Perform CLIA-waived laboratory tests and maintain equipment
  • Document patient information in electronic medical records
  • Support office workflow, including scheduling and communication
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient areas
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of an accredited medical assisting program or medical assistant certification/registration
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Experience in outpatient clinical settings preferred
  • Bilingual ability desirable
