About the job

Work as a Medical Assistant in Largo, Florida, supporting healthcare delivery under physician supervision. You will assist with patient assessments, clinical procedures, record-keeping, and ensure a seamless clinic experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Record patient complaints and update medical records
• Prepare patients for examinations and document observations
• Perform and document clinical tests (vital signs, vision, EKG, spirometer, etc.)
• Support treatments and minor procedures (injections, wound care, etc.)
• Maintain accurate supply inventory and sterile equipment
• Facilitate communication and follow-up between patients and providers
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and office policies

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certificate or 1 year of direct patient contact experience
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Bilingual in English/Spanish desired but not required
