Maintain the integrity and privacy of patient medical records in a healthcare environment. Ensure all released information meets regulatory standards and accuracy, process requests, and support patients and providers in accessing records, all while upholding patient confidentiality and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Process requests for medical records and verify recipient authorization.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations.
• Maintain and organize record documentation in EMR.
• Assist with preparation and delivery of external record requests.
• Support other departments as required and participate in training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior medical records or healthcare experience preferred.
• Attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills.
