Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify scheduled studies, ensuring all documentation and insurance requirements are met.
• Coordinate with technologists and staff for appointment management and special needs.
• Handle communications with patients and referring offices.
• Maintain accurate records and follow protocols for urgent situations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months' experience as medical receptionist or related role.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding (ICD-9/CPT), good organizational and customer service skills.

Skills

• Ability to multi-task efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and phone etiquette.
