Help students maximize their learning and participation as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting. This pivotal role supports students with disabilities, guiding them to enhance their educational experience through specialized interventions and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ physical and functional challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff for holistic support
- Provide recommendations during IEP meetings and ensure accurate documentation
- Foster safe, supportive environments and proper equipment management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy required
- State licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist/Physical Therapist
- Experience in pediatric therapy and a school environment preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills

Work Environment
- Primarily based in school facilities; must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
