Occupational Therapist

Become an essential part of a critical illness recovery hospital, delivering post-ICU services to patients requiring extended healing and recovery. Occupational Therapists in this role are pivotal in offering compassionate, evidence-based care to severely ill individuals during vulnerable times.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in patient discharge planning, including education for patients and families
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and OT/COTA students
• Conduct individualized therapy regimens for each patient
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment
• Engage in continuing education seminars and in-service training

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
• Certified BLS, or completion within 90 days of employment
