Physical Therapist

About the job

This role consists of evaluating, planning, and providing physical therapy interventions for patients under the guidance of a physician. The Physical Therapist maintains treatment records, develops patient-specific plans, and may supervise assistants and clerical staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient function and disability
• Develop and administer tailored treatment plans
• Document physical therapy procedures, evaluations, and progress
• Coordinate with physicians and other care team members
• Maintain program records and support department operations

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy
• Licensed by the New York State Education Department (permit acceptable for early-career professionals)
• Bachelor's degree accepted if licensed prior to recent mandates
• No prior general or supervisory experience required
