Join GW MFA's expansive network in Washington, DC as a Physician Assistant. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals across a range of specialties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations including history and physical examinations
- Order and interpret lab data and radiological tests
- Prescribe medications and initiate appropriate therapies
- Document care in patient medical records
- Educate and counsel patients and families about care management
- Supervise students and coordinate with clinical consultants as needed
Qualifications
- Master's degree as PA (or equivalent for NP roles)
- NCCPA certification and DC Physician Assistant license (or equivalent for NP roles)
- Physical stamina to work long hours in clinical settings and ability to lift/carry heavy objects
