About the job
Contribute as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Dayton, Tennessee, providing direct speech therapy care to patients per physician referral. This role adheres to all legal, ethical, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, establish, and revise functional, measurable therapy goals
- Provide hands-on speech therapy and document progress
- (For SLP CCC) Supervise and evaluate clinical fellows (SLP CFY), and for SLP CFY, follow direction of supervising SLP
- Work with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to address communication needs
- Participate in community health outreach as appropriate
- Maintain patient safety and uphold patient rights
- Ensure professional, respectful interactions and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited speech therapy program (MS or MA in SLP)
- ASHA certification (or eligibility for CFY)
- State licensure and CPR certification (or expected soon after hiring)
- Experience in post-acute care preferred
- Proficiency in therapy software and Microsoft Office
