Play a crucial role in hospital operations by ensuring the cleanliness, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform decontamination and cleaning of instruments and equipment
- Sort, wrap, and assemble instrument trays
- Operate sterilization equipment, including STERRAD and steam sterilizers
- Pick and prepare items for surgical procedures
- Complete basic computer tasks related to inventory and documentation
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior related experience and certification preferred
