About the job
As a Therapist in a nonprofit treatment organization, you'll provide counseling and therapeutic services to individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. The role involves clinical assessments, treatment planning, and facilitating therapeutic interventions, while also participating in team meetings and community events.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a client caseload and deliver individualized counseling services.
- Conduct clinical and psychosocial assessments and participate in treatment planning.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA and regulatory documentation requirements.
- Attend clinical trainings and team meetings.
- Contribute to policy and program improvement, and crisis intervention.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in a mental health-related field.
- Active Kentucky clinical license (LPCC, LCSW, LPCA, etc.).
- Experience with substance use and co-occurring disorders preferred.
- Strong crisis intervention and case management skills.
